In recent days, Ricochet has been the most named man in the professional wrestling industry. This is because the former United States Champion has notified WWE that he will not renew his contract. Becoming a free agent in July WWE made all the preparations on RAW to remove him from the schedule.

He was stretchered out of the show after being slammed on a car windshield by Bron Breakker. And now the WWE has provided an update on Ricochet, which has all but confirmed that the former Prince Puma will be headed to the Tony Khan-led promotion.

On their Twitter account, the WWE provided an update on Ricochet. They claimed that the high-flyer would be missing from action for “an undisclosed amount of time.”Something that seems very fishy, as we are all aware by now that he will be leaving WWE soon. They wrote, “After suffering a brutal attack at the hands of @bronbreakkerwwe this past Monday on #WWERaw, @KingRicochet will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time with upper body injuries.”

This tweet and the undisclosed amount of time confirmed the fan speculation that Ricochet could bid adieu to the Stamford-based promotion. That’s why they took away his Speed Championship and now have written him off TV. Nevertheless, there is a glimmer of hope for the WWE faithful as murmurs have garnered pace about a potential last appearance for Ricochet. It is suggested that the company could utilize the high flyer for one last appearance to further his angle with Breakker and provide closure before he rides off into the sunset. And everything seems to point to his next destination being All Elite Wrestling, where Will Ospreay recently stated that he would love to have him in that company. Also, stars like MJF and Swerve Strickland have already alluded to his arrival.

WWE fans see behind the curtain as they see through the veil in the latest tweet

As soon as the tweet came to light, the WWE Universe took to the replies to share their thoughts on this update. Many simply stated that they woudln’t fall for the deception and acknowledged that Ricochet would become ‘All Elite’. However, according to the fans, it might also be the wrong move, and he will come back to the WWE after a short stint with Tony Khan.

But not every fan believed he would be headed to All Elite Wrestling. Some believed that he could be going to TNA instead. With the recent crossovers of wrestlers between the two promotions, it could be a splendid opportunity and timing for Ricochet.

A minority of the fans still believed that Ricochet would change his mind and return to the WWE. His wife too works in the promotion and he could increase his appeal and then get a push that propels him as a main event player. The high flyer could try to emulate Cody Rhodes’s career trajectory.
