WWE fans are preparing themselves to see Ricochet potentially leave the leading wrestling promotion and join another company. This will come with some changes that his fans must embrace if the wrestler wishes to work elsewhere. A question that has been there in fans’ minds is whether Samantha Irvin will also follow Richochet out of the promotion.

There have been no updates till now regarding Irvin’s contract with the Stamford-based company. However, Sean Ross Sapp has given his perspective on the possibility of Irvin moving to another workplace.

Ricochet’s fiance to follow him over to the new promotion?

When the news about Ricochet’s contract broke on the internet, fans took to X to discuss the new possibilities for him. Some argued that the 35-year-old might never leave the company because of Irvin’s career in WWE. One such fan took his thoughts to the Fightful podcast where he asked Sean Ross Sapp about Samantha Irvin’s potential shift to another promotion.

After revealing that he doesn’t know much about her contract situation yet, Sapp added, “I don’t know anything about her deal but if you can get Samantha Irvin, you get Samantha Irvin. That is like Renee Paquette; if you can get her, you get her, you find the spot for her. Same here. Samantha Irvin is, in my opinion, right up there with as good as anybody in the game right now.”

WWE will have to offer Irvin way more than other promotions if they intend to keep her when her contract is finished. This will be particularly true if her fiance starts working elsewhere and doesn’t re-sign his WWE contract. Since Richochet is being speculated to show up in AEW, we could also see Irvin make the move. Even if Irvin is to stay in WWE for long, it won’t stop Ricochet from signing with another company.

Ricochet and Samantha Irvin may do just fine in different promotions

The main concern among fans is that the couples who work in a promotion together wouldn’t be comfortable working for different companies. It’s convenient for such couples to be colleagues as they can still spend quality time with each other and prioritize their relationships.

When this discussion sparked on X, Sean Ross Sapp took to social media to upload pictures of couples who work in different wrestling promotions to show the world that the contract of one partner doesn’t bind the other to a specific company.

So, despite the rumors and reports that Richochet and Irvin might leave WWE together, we can’t say with absolute certainty that it will happen, as there have been couples who have worked in different promotions. Bayley-Aaron Solow and Lana-Miro are examples from the past.
