This was not Erick’s first AEW appearance. Back in 2020, following the death of Brodie Lee, Erick Redbeard appeared during the “Brodie Lee Celebration of Life” episode on AEW Dynamite.

On that night, he came to the rescue of the members of the Dark Order after Wardlow tried to attack them in the middle of a six-man tag team match.

Following the match, Erick once again appeared in the ring. He looked emotional as he held up a sign that had a message for Brodie Lee. It read “Goodbye for now, my brother. See you down the road.”
