The star in question is none other than Andrade El Idolo, who has reportedly cut ties with Khan professionally. Moreover, speculation suggests he could jump ship to his former wrestling home, WWE.

Despite coming to the end of the contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion, Idolo wanted to end it on a rather smooth note. He held zero grudges and paid tribute to the AEW head honcho for his eventful time in the business. And he didn’t shy away from expressing the same in a recent tweet. But it came out hollow as Jinder Mahal came out as the one in the Raw brand show last Monday.

However, the clues didn’t stop there. Another recent report has suggested that Andrade’s return to WWE is just a matter of time now. According to that source, Andrade was advertised for one GCW event in 2024, but he’s no longer a part of the event. So, WWE might be the next big thing for the 34-year-old.
