AEW’s PPV Full Gear will be taking place on Saturday, 18th November. As a result, AEW will run Collision tonight at 8 pm, just before Rampage which generally airs at 10 pm on Fridays. Thus Collision and SmackDown will be airing at the same time.
This will be the first time that the show will go head-to-head with SmackDown since its first episode back in June 2023. This was also the 2nd time that the two promotions will be battling it out for supremacy in TV ratings. The last time WWE and AEW aired their episodes simultaneously, it was called the Tuesday Night War. WWE won that ratings war with almost 1 million viewers with the help of heavyweights like The Undertaker and John Cena.
As far as the match card for Collision goes, Miro will be facing Daniel Garcia. Also, AEW Women’s World champ Hikaru Shida & TBS champion Kris Statlander joined forces to take on Saraya & Ruby Soho. RUSH and Dax Harwood will also be having a one-on-one match tonight. Then on Rampage which starts when SmackDown goes off air, Toni Storm will wrestle against Emi Sakura.
In addition, Renee Paquette has separate sit-down interviews with World Champion MJF and his Full Gear opponent Jay White. There are rumors that the masked devil will also finally reveal his identity tonight.
Now let’s take a look at the match card for SmackDown.
SmackDown has a surprise return in store for it’s fans
Some huge matches are lined up for tonight’s SmackDown. LA Knight continues his feud with The Bloodline as he takes on Jimmy Uso who cost him the title at Crown Jewel.
Solo Sikoa is also slated to return to SmackDown after pulverizing John Cena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There are also rumors that ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles might return tonight to seek retribution from Sikoa.
