Darby Allin made a name for himself in AEW for his unique daredevil gimmick and incredible display of skills. He eventually became one of the key pillars in the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, currently, he’s aiming to expand his horizon by climbing the magnificent Mount Everest next year.
Yes, you heard it right. The daring young star disclosed his plan in an exclusive interview with TMZ Sports. Mount Everest, being the world’s highest peak, must bring some tough challenges to anyone that dares to conquer it. It, in fact, took countless lives over the years.
That being said, the death-defying Darby Alin is more than ready to take up any daunting task in his life in order to move higher than his fellow wrestlers, both in sports and other activities.
The mountain enthusiast noted, “That’s why it’s so important for me to meet up with guys like [Travis] Pastrana, and make stuff happen. Do stuff that no wrestler’s ever done before. The thing I’m going to be doing next year that no wrestler’s done before is climbing Mount Everest. You heard it here first.”
