This might be a good year for Tony Khan and his AEW. After securing Will Ospreay, one of the hottest pro wrestling talents in the market, he is set to get another one on board. This makes sense as Khan has stated in the past that in 2024, he will be focusing more on the free-agent market. The latest talk of the town is Kazuchika Okada and his new home. Well, no need to look around anymore as here are some details on the current status of Kazuchika Okada and his talks with Tony Khan.
Will Kazuchika Okada work with Tony Khan?
The simple answer to this question is yes. As per a report by Fightful, a deal has been finalized between Okada and AEW. As for now, the Rainmaker has to fulfill his commitments with NJPW while AEW works on the contract. While the star has not officially signed the contract yet, he is on his way to becoming an All-Elite.

Apart from that, his debut might be on the horizon. While it has been stated that he will join AEW after his NJPW commitments, his last match at the Japan-based promotion is on February 24, a few weeks before the AEW Dynamite Big Business.
While we have mentioned all the things that have been confirmed, here are a few things that might happen in the future.
How things will turn out for Okada at AEW
Okada is someone who already has a lot of fan following even before he has made it to the United States. It might be possible that he makes his debut at the AEW Big Business considering all the hype Khan has been creating around the show. However, Okada might be waiting to settle his score with two people. AEW’s top stars Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson are some who have faced him in the past. While Moxley had defeated him once in a six-man tag team match, Danielson had defeated Okada twice.

While we are unsure whether Okada would like to go after Moxley considering that it was a six-man tag team match, he sure has to settle some score with the American Dragon. It might be something that Danielson will want to do as he had recently stated his desire to work with Okada. Who do you think will be a better opponent for Kazuchika Okada?
