Despite WWE ties, CM Punk's AEW All In presence proves he's still the fan favorite!

AEW surged in prestige and ratings when they reintroduced CM Punk to the squad circle after almost a decade. Although a lot of things transpired after that, and the individual was sacked by the organization, it appears his effect is still felt. Why are we saying this? The fans who attended the AEW All-In demonstrated this by proving how big a CM Punk fans they were.

We’re talking about all the “CM Punk” chants that plagued Wembley Stadium throughout the Tag Team Championship battle. The match was between the Young Bucks, the FTR and The Acclaimed and everything was going well till that time. The chanting likely came as a result of his involvement with the Young Bucks in the match. The Second City Saint did not enjoy a fruitful bond with the revered tag team. The Young Bucks also worked with Punk to show the backstage footage of AEW All In 2023, which sparked the entire controversy last year.

Furthermore, the chanting did not finish then; the entire audience continued to shout the name near the end of the bout. Odds are that they will do it again once they become bored with what went down inside the ring. For the past decade, it has been a custom that whenever someone uninteresting enters the ring and the audience is indifferent, the “CM Punk” chants are unquestionably heard.

Aside from these AEW events, Punk has a significant effect elsewhere, since these chants are common in WWE segments where he is not even involved.

Even WWE is plagued by CM Punk shouts

It appears that the whole wrestling world has promised one another that if dull things happen in the ring, they will remember their hero. Despite his exit and prolonged absence, several segments throughout the years recorded the defeating chants of the Second City Saint.
