AEW surged in prestige and ratings when they reintroduced CM Punk to the squad circle after almost a decade. Although a lot of things transpired after that, and the individual was sacked by the organization, it appears his effect is still felt. Why are we saying this? The fans who attended the AEW All-In demonstrated this by proving how big a CM Punk fans they were.

We’re talking about all the “CM Punk” chants that plagued Wembley Stadium throughout the Tag Team Championship battle. For the past decade, it has been a custom that whenever someone uninteresting enters the ring and the audience is indifferent, the “CM Punk” chants are unquestionably heard.

Aside from these AEW events, Punk has a significant effect elsewhere, since these chants are common in WWE segments where he is not even involved.
