However, with WWE recently revealing their disinterest in welcoming Punk back anytime soon, the wide wave of speculation has slowly been going down. That said, the pro wrestler couldn’t let it happen, sparking rumors once again with another massive hint.

CM Punk’s AEW firing stirred a lot of drama inside and outside of the promotion. Following the backstage brawl at All In, Khan took very little time to make the ultimate decision to kick Punk out. Given that The Second City Saint still has some more years left before hanging up his shoes, quite naturally, fans have been worrying about his next destination ever since.

From Rollins’ promo to Shinsuke Nakamura Hits Go To Sleep On WWE Raw, WWE continued to hype fans up at the weekly shows, before revealing their utter indifference to taking Punk back into the room.

Now, Punk himself came up with a clear tease during his appearance in the latest MMA event in Tampa, Florida, at CFFC 126.

Before talking about the match card, the show host addressed the former WWE star saying, “We got to see Punk here tonight. He may be going to another promotion. Who knows? How great is it?”

Punk quickly replied, ”Anthony Pettis, Fighting Championships is actually in November. You’re correct. That’s just wrong.”

The Survivor Series is scheduled to be held in Chicago, Punk’s hometown on November 5th. Also, the background music ringing there was Black Sabbath’s War Pigs, which was also the official theme song for Survivor Series last year. Do you need more information to connect the dots? Hopefully, no.

On top of that, Punk also broke the silence about Khan lambasting his old promotion’s higher-ups as well.
