The gears of pro wrestling stars hold a special place in the hearts of both the stars and their fans. Quite often these gears are auctioned so that money can be raised for noble causes, tending to fetch large amounts due to the stardom associated with it. However, due to this, many people resort to unethical and illegal ways to make quick money.

Recently, AEW star Saraya became a victim of something similar. The 31-year-old star’s gear was stolen. And she is worried that she might end up losing her beloved paraphernalia.

After Cody Rhodes, it might be Saraya

This news came days after Rhodes’ match-worn robe fetched around $47k in an online auction. Although the auction was curated by WWE, Saraya is scared that her gear might suffer the same fate at the hands of an unknown auctioneer. After the incident, Saraya took to X (former Twitter) to spread awareness amongst her fans and probably could enlist them to help her.

She wrote, Heads up to the public. All my wrestling gear has recently gone missing, including some items that I owned for ten years and had sentimental value,” informing her fans about the incident. She further wrote, “Luckily, I have two jackets left, but I would love for you guys to keep an eye out on the internet and auction sites because someone may wind up selling stuff eventually”, urging her fans to stay aware as they might end up buying her things illegally.

She had further urged the public to contact AEW if they found any details regarding her gear. A reward is also in store for someone who brings any leads on the culprit.

Memorabilia connected to sports entertainment often fetch a high price. In recent news, Bayley and Cody Rhodes’ memorabilia were auctioned. Both auctions ended up going well into the tens of thousands. As these auctions were curated by the stars themselves, it was not an alarming situation. Especially as both stars expressly mentioned that the money was going to a good cause.

After losing her entire gear, the 31-year-old star is thankful as she still has two of her in-ring jackets. However, according to reports, she might not be able to retrieve her full gear.

Is Saraya about to lose her gear forever?

While Saraya is busy trying to rally her fans to get a hold of her stolen gear, it seems that the gear has already found itself in the hands of someone else. Her gear was recently spotted on a Facebook Marketplace advertisement, where an unknown seller was peddling the goods for some profit. However, the person who posted the advertisement soon took it down, and is no more available on the platform.

According to the post, three of her apparel have already been sold on Pawn Stars Do America. This will be featured in an episode that will be aired early next year, according to the poster. However, whether the rest of her things are still available for auction or not is unclear, since the advertisement is now unavailable. Apart from that, the locker included other things such as autographs and signed memorabilia.

What do you think about Saraya’s stolen gear? Will she end up retrieving all of it, or will they begin showing up in various corners of the country?
