It brought a surreal moment to the entire arena. AEW star Thunder Rosa recently recalled that splendid moment and articulated her feelings.

Speaking to the busted open radio, the former AEW Women’s World Champion noted, ‘When Zelina Vega came out, I really cried. I remember when Thea Trinidad [Zelina Vega] came to STARDOM in 2015 and I saw her struggle, when I saw her in Puerto Rico with her people, it was such a beautiful moment… Even though she didn’t win the title, she won even more than that.’

Expressing her desire to experience such a priceless moment sometime in her life, Rossa added. ”Every time I watch it, I cry. I don’t know if I will ever get to do something as big as that.”

During a recent interview with Cheap Heat podcast, the RAW Women’s Champion Ripley admitted living the moment to the fullest and relating it to herself. The Eradicator’s hard exterior softened while seeing the emotional reception of Vega by her homeland’s crowd. She even felt guilty when the crowd chanted her name for once, as she feared that it might ruin Vega’s special moment.

Ripley noted, ‘I can only imagine the emotions that she’s feeling right now and then seeing her walk out with the flag, go to her family, hug them, get in the ring, and get so emotional life on camera when I know that she’s not a very emotional showing person, it was hard for me to play off it in a way that Rhea Ripley would because [I felt it personally]. I wanted to smile with her, but I wouldn’t.’
