Despite retiring nearly a quarter of a century ago, Arn Anderson still holds considerable swing as a recognizable face in the wrestling world. The former American professional wrestler signed with All Elite Wrestling in late 2019, becoming a familiar figure in front of the cameras and one of the head coaches backstage.

However, his time at Tony Khan’s company is very close to coming to an end. A few moments ago, Arn Anderson pointed out that he was in his last week as an AEW worker. On the ARN Show, Anderson revealed that the 31st of May is the last day of his contract. So what’s next for the pro wrestling legend? Well, it seems like he might join Cody Rhodes. The current WWE Undisputed Universal champion had outlined his need for a manager for a long time.

Since returning to WWE, Cody Rhodes has run a solo act unlike his time in AEW. During his time in the Florida-based promotion, he had the support of Arn Anderson and other members of The Nightmare Family. While this has not prevented Rhodes from prospering in WWE, he is considering seeking help again in the future. Cody Rhodes recently stated on the Busted Open Radio that he missed having someone like Anderson by his side during the contract signing with Logan Paul.

As a result, he could start working with a manager within the next few months. It’s unclear at this time whether WWE intends to hire a manager for Cody Rhodes or if they already have one in mind. But reuniting Arn Anderson with Rhodes surely should be a go-to move for Triple H. Though this would need some major convincing as well, since Anderson revealed that he is leaving AEW to focus on spending time with his son Brock Anderson. His son, too, is a part of Tony Khan’s promotion but has spent time on the sidelines since last fall.

“The limited time that I have left I want to spend with Brock, because I think Brock has aptitude and attitude, and I think he will be a big player for somebody. I just got to get him some experience, and that’s where I’m gonna devote my time. And if he comes along like I think and hope he will, it will be sooner than later.”

The original member of the Four Horsemen had announced 2024 as his last year of active work in professional wrestling. And he has thanked his co-workers, including members of AEW’s coaching department, for the amazing journey he has had so far. But WWE and Cody Rhodes’ fans surely wouldn’t want Anderson to leave without one last run with the American Nightmare. So, what do you think? Will Anderson join Rhodes for one last time? Let us know in the comments.
