CM Punk has a reputation for speaking his mind in public. Moreover, he is beloved by his fans for doing exactly that. Punk gives his unfiltered opinion on things, whether or not someone likes it. However, this time he has said something that wrestling fans all over the world are praising.
Punk recently highlighted the fact the WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart deserves the world and more for his impact and body of work in WWE.

CM Punk in the past has criticized WWE a lot because of his strenuous relationship with the company. Punk’s opinions have always been popular amongst fans, and sometimes his remarks divide the wrestling fans into those who agree and those who do not agree with him. Punk comments on what he thinks of wrestlers, storylines in both his current company AEW and his former employers WWE.
CM Punk is a true veteran in the wrestling industry. Thus, him praising another WWE Legend is heartwarming.
Michael Hamflett of WhatCulture recently tweeted a quote CM Punk gave in 2022 about The Hitman.

Punk clearly shares this opinion with a lot of wrestling fans, as the tweet soon went viral. Bret Hart’s wrestling career was legendary and, unfortunately, his fans did not get to see as much of him as they wanted to. A number of reasons stand behind Hart’s abrupt departure from wrestling. He has always been candid about them with his fans.

Similarities between CM Punk and Bret Hart’s WWE careers
Both CM Punk and Bret Hart have had their issues with WWE. Bret Hart was WWE’s top wrestler in the early 1990s, but things changed drastically during the Monday Night Wars. Bret and WWE could not come to a shared vision for his future, so he decided to leave WWE for WCW.
However, Vince McMahon infamously screwed Bret Hart out of his WWE Championship in an incident known as the “Montreal Screwjob”. For years, Bret denounced WWE’s treatment of him until eventually making peace with them many years later.

Punk had a similar story as well. He was WWE’s longest-reigning World Champion at one point. However, he was never put in the main event scene of WrestleMania.

Their creative differences about his future with the company led to Punk’s departure from the company. He only returned to WWE briefly as part of the WWE Backstage show, but soon after he joined AEW where he is doing incredible work.
