CM Punk is a free agent in the pro wrestling market right now. Earlier in September, AEW let him go after his inappropriate behavior at the All In event in London. Since then, the fans have been wondering what will be his next move. Which territory will the former AEW star venture into next?

That being said, something else, rather interesting, has caught the wrestling universe’s attention recently. 61 days after his exit from the Jacksonville-based promotion, he dropped a cryptic message aimed at Tony Khan and AEW on his IG profile.

Punk recently went to his official Instagram account to share a cryptic message on his IG story section. He shared a post on his story, which read, “Sometimes your value isn’t seen until your absence is felt.” Well, this might be a shot aimed at the AEW President and his promotion, given their recent decline in performances and ratings.

Ever since Punk left the promotion, it has not been doing well number-wise. So ‘The Best In The World’ might be implying that the AEW CEO made the wrong decision by letting him go. Surely, Khan lost a great talent when he released Punk. This could prove beneficial to some other promotions who might hire him in the future.

Will Punk come back to WWE?

WWE Survivor Series is going to take place in Chicago this year. Chicago is Punk’s hometown. So many were hoping to see him there at the upcoming event scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
