The pro-wrestling business is all about surprises. One such surprise the fans got earlier this week was the news of CM Punk planning on returning inside the squared circle, and his preferred company would be AEW.
But recent reports suggest CM Punk has finally inked the contract for AEW’s future shows at his hometown Chicago. Punk wrestled his last match in 2014 for WWE at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
This signing is arguably the biggest signing for All Elite Wrestling ever since its inception, along with Punk the company has also allegedly signed Bryan Danielson aka Daniel Bryan.

“I believe the [Ringside News] report 100% and I’ve had a lot of other stuff told me that solidifies why I believe that. I was told that he’s 100% for Chicago. They want CM Punk in Chicago. They want him to be there. It’s not a matter if, but when. You know they have Dynamite, they have Rampage, and they have All Out.”
Reports suggest AEW discussed the contract digitally and were waiting to do the remaining formalities in person. But now with this latest news, it seems like AEW and ‘The Voice of the Voiceless‘ CM Punk have finally put the pen to paper.
