Recently, it was announced that Jennifer Pepperman, one of WWE’s top writers and producers, had decided to end her time at the company. The reason behind Pepperman’s departure was reported to be her pursuit of a career change. Her primary job consisted of working in the women’s division of SmackDown. Moreover, she had a close relationship with Mercedes Mone, FKA Sasha Banks.
Reports had suggested that Pepperman’s departure from WWE came as a result of Mercedes Mone’s possible AEW debut next March on Big Business. And now it seems like this is the motivation behind the move, as Pepperman has joined AEW as Vice President of Content Development. Tony Khan made the move official as he put up a welcome post for his new staff.

Pepperman brings a wealth of experience to AEW, having previously served as a senior writer and producer at WWE before departing earlier this month. Throughout her career, Pepperman has earned recognition with three Daytime Emmy Awards for her directorial duties, underscoring her talent and competence in directing. Her accolades include directing awards on both “As the World Turns” and “One Life to Live,” as well as for her work on the digital drama series “After Forever.”
As AEW welcomes Pepperman to its team, fans can anticipate further developments and improvements in the promotion’s content creation.
