Wrestling legend Chris Jericho has lived many lives during his prolonged career of thirty years in the pro-wrestling industry. From being the top guy in WWE to being the vocalist of a rock band called Fozzy, Jericho has done it all.
Jericho is currently with AEW, where he has toned a bit on his in-ring appearances and is filling in the commentary spot for Tony Khan’s company. Recently, ‘The Painmaker’ referenced his career as a lead singer of a band and talked about how AEW is much better than WWE ever was.

Jericho recently appeared on the ‘Wrestling With Freddie‘ podcast, where he revealed his earlier days being the lead singer of the band and how difficult it was for them at first.
Chris Jericho has a unique take on WWE vs AEW
During the podcast, ‘Le Champion‘ confessed that people tend to think that the life of a rockstar is easy and one-of-a-kind. Instead, he detailed that it is not nearly what people make out of it.
“Rock n’ Roll isn’t as glamorous as you think. Especially when you first start like everything else. You gotta just go with the flow, like travel in a van, do all the things you gotta do. Now, we have a nice tour bus.”
Jericho then gave an example of how the tour of legendary guitarist Slash differs from other rock stars in the business. Eventually, he noted that Slash lives the life which many people think is the reality.

However, Jericho slowly leans towards the difference between AEW and WWE in terms of life on the road. Speaking on the podcast, the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight champion confessed that in WWE he was never offered a luxurious hotel or pick-up cars.
Claiming that Tony Khan and his dad know what life is like on the road because they own an NFL team and this is where the difference shows.

“AEW’s treatment is a million times better than WWE’s ever was because the Khan family are owners of sports teams. I never had hotels and cars provided ever in the 30 years of working in the [United] States [of America],” said Jericho.
