Jericho’s former rival Kenny Omega decided to join forces with him to defeat the Gates of Agony. The tag team called, The Golden Jets has become a fan-favorite since then. While fans want them to go against formidable foes, Jericho revealed who The Golden Jets are aiming for.

Who does Chris Jericho want to fight next?

In a conversation with Joe Hayden of the Dallas Morning News, Jericho revealed what he wants next for the AEW tag team. Upon being asked what other long-term storylines are in the works at AEW, The Ocho revealed that The Golden Jets were intent on facing two former WWE Tag Team Champions. In the interview, Jericho said, “But we’ve got a lot of stuff going on with The Golden Jets with Big Bill and Ricky Starks, and Will Hobbs and Takeshita. … And I’d love to have a match with FTR.” He further added that he never got the chance to go against the two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions and that would be an exciting opportunity.

“I think Jets versus FTR would be amazing,” he said. Jericho also added that there are currently a lot of ideas and storylines in the chamber. These ideas will be revealed gradually before the tag team duo go on to the next step. Fans witnessed the chemistry the two had when they were able to defeat The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear in November. However, this is vastly different from when the two started out at the promotion.
