Chris Jericho is a man of many words and always has something to say. Apart from his full-time job as an AEW Superstar, Y2J is a part-time critic of WWE.
In a recent interview with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Jericho spoke about how WWE ruined Jon Moxley, and how much he has improved in AEW.
“Who would have thought 2 years ago that Dean Ambrose, wearing a goofy f****** mask, is now going to be a completely different guy? New name, character, attitude, and that he’s going to be our main event player, our champ? Nobody would’ve guessed that. Nobody.”

Jon Moxley has been ranked the best wrestler in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Beating his former colleagues in WWE, Moxley has made a bigger name for himself than ever before.
The AEW World Champion has been the undisputed and undefeated Champion since joining the promotion. Dean Ambrose is now a ghost from a forgotten time.

Chris Jericho also compared the difference he saw in his feud against Dean Ambrose back in his WWE days vs the feud he had against Jon Moxley in AEW.
“Well, that wasn’t even the same guy. Dean Ambrose doesn’t even exist anymore. To me, that’s almost some job guy from the past. Jon Moxley is not that guy.”
Admittedly so, Jon Moxley is a different beast since joining AEW. He has a much deeper charisma and a more dominant role. AEW has truly shown WWE what they missed out on.

As Dean Ambrose, Moxley was always the third member of The Shield in WWE. He never truly got his own identity like Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns. Whenever he did have the chance to break free, WWE made him lose the big storyline and ultimately buried him.

AEW has done everything right with him and has made him the Superstar he should have been for all these years. Undoubtedly one of the best in the world, Moxley still has a lot of ground to cover which he definitely will in AEW.
