The AEW President Tony Khan recently ghosted a former WWE Superstar, Chavo Guerrero. The Mexican Guerrero has been a part of significant wrestling promotions, such as WCW, WWE, and AEW. Chavo debuted with the All Elite Wrestling in July 2021, where he was portrayed as the ‘Executive Consultant’ for Andrade El Idolo.
Initially, Tony Khan and Jr. Guerrero agreed on a short-term contract. However, plans for Chavo Guerrero were not discussed, as Chavo expected Tony Khan would revisit the agreement down the line.

The former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero has also been a part of NBC’s hit-comedy Young Rock. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson opened up an opportunity for Jr. Guerrero to help behind the scenes that dealt with wrestling.
Tony Khan agreed with Jr. Guerrero’s break
The AEW Star Chavo Guerrero was invited to the latest Wrestling Inc. Daily with Nick Hausman and shared his current status with the AEW.
While speaking to Nick Hausman, Jr. Guerrero mentioned he is not happy with the AEW President, Tony Khan’s behavior.
Chavo said, “100% news to me, man. So, originally when I started AEW, talking to Tony Khan, he was like, ‘Alright, so you can start working for maybe, it was about two months.’ Then I got the opportunity; I knew I was going back to Young Rock. I just didn’t know when it was going to happen.”
When Jr. Guerrero spoke with Tony Khan about the same, he thought it was an excellent shot for him. The AEW President agreed on Chavo Guerrero’s break from the company as he was filming and wrestling part on the Young Rock show. However, at that time, Khan indicated to Chavo that when he comes back, he will have a job back in the AEW.

The AEW President ignored Chavo Guerrero!
The former WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero continued to work on the second season of Young Rock with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the team. Although, Jr. Guerrero revealed that Tony Khan ignored his text and calls when it was time for his return to the AEW.
“Coming back in early February, started giving Tony some texts, no answer, no reply. Called him, left him a voice message, no reply whatsoever,” Chavo Guerrero added. In addition, Chavo Guerrero was also removed from the AEW roster page, which came as a surprise to him.

Jr. Guerrero continued, “Hey, I’m a big boy; if there are no plans for me, totally fine, I get it. But answer your phone. I deal with billionaires all the time; he’s not the first one. So it kind of pisses me off a little bit. After working with Vince McMahon, you can deal with anybody.”
The AEW Star Chavo Guerrero earlier has been disappointed with the WWE and now with the AEW President. Tony Khan has not given an ultimate decision to Jr. Guerrero about his contract or any other updates on his return.
