Throughout 2021, wrestling fans witnessed many in-ring coupes tying knots or announcing their engagements through social media. However, on the contrary, one power couple broke up towards the end of the year, Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo.

Recently it was reported that the current AEW superstar, Andrade El Idolo, unfollowed his fiance Charlotte Flair from Instagram and Twitter. El Idolo even unfollowed Ric Flair from Twitter. However, the latest report suggests that it was Charlotte who called off the wedding and broke up.

According to Bodyslam.net, Charlotte Flair and Andrade have officially split up.

Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo broke up

It came as quite a shock when it was revealed that Charlotte Flair was the one to shut off the idea of winning. Because since Andrade went to AEW, the ‘Queen’ has expressed multiple times that she would like to work with her fiance under the “same umbrella”.

However, Bodyslam.net reported that according to their sources, Charlotte and Andrade are no more together. Following is an excerpt of their report.

“After speaking with multiple sources I can confirm that the two are no longer together. Sources indicated that the break-up did not appear to be mutual and that it was Charlotte who ended the relationship. I was not given any details as to why the relationship came to an end, only that the two are officially done as of a couple weeks ago.”

The couple were together since 2019 and announced their engagement on January 1st, 2020. The dynamics between the two wrestlers looked stellar, as Andrade shared a good relationship with Ric Flair as well.

Earlier this year, Ric Flair accompanied Andrade in a match against Kenny Omega in a Mexican-based wrestling promotion, Lucha Libre.

For now, no one has personally commented on this breakup and everyone is keeping a low profile surrounding this matter. However much power to Charlotte and Andrade during this breakup.
