This week’s episode of Dynamite in Charleston, West Virginia featured a segment starring the Jackson brothers in the company’s production department. Nicholas and Matthew Jackson recalled their upcoming match against FTR at AEW Dynasty, calling it a rematch of their biggest match at All In London.
AEW’s executive vice presidents pointed to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler as the catalysts for a moment that damaged a friend’s career, directly pointing to The Scapegoat as the one affected in the well-known altercation between him and CM Punk. It is with that brief introduction that the Jackson brothers gave way to the long-awaited recording. A recording of the infamous brawl between CM Punk and Jack Perry. And now people are turning against Tony Khan for even deciding to leak the footage.

Last August, at AEW All In, Jack Perry and CM Punk were involved in a backstage brawl. This led to Punk being fired a week later, and Perry ended up being suspended. And the Young Buck recently teased that they will show exclusive backstage footage from the event. Although they did not specify that it was for the fight between Punk and Perry. But now, they did it. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson presented the backstage footage of AEW All In in which CM Punk and Jack Perry have a physical altercation. In the video, Punk is seen approaching Perry and they begin arguing. Until, seconds later, Punk pushes Jack Perry and initiates a brawl. That’s when Samoa Joe steps in and later HOOK to take Perry away. Then, Jerry Lynn and Chris Hero are the ones who grab CM Punk.

Before leaving for another place accompanied by Malakai Black and others, CM Punk pointed directly at Tony Khan, who was right next to everything that happened and had to be restrained. The President of AEW was attempting to hold the monitors at the time. And later Khan claimed that he feared for his life and fired CM Punk. However, this move by AEW to reveal the footage has surely backfired and now they’re facing the wrath of the fans.
Fans criticize the unnecessary revelation
As soon as AEW broadcasted the footage, fans were quick to take to social media. They tried reminding Khan of the NDA between Punk and the company, and how this was just a stupid move by the AEW head honcho according to them. Here are some of the tweets:
One fan believes that Tony Khan has buried AEW with this move.

This fan revealed why he believes Khan is a bad booker and President.
I stopped watching @AEW because I thought @TonyKhan didn't know what the hell he was doing as a booker.
I will continue to NOT watch @AEW because @TonyKhan is an absolute moron after showing the CM Punk/Jack Perry footage.
He's digging his own grave…

One fan reminded the AEW President of the Non-disclosure agreement.
Hey @TonyKhan, I have an idea. Scrap the NDA. Release the Brawl Out Footage then it will truly be "CM Punk BAD".
I am just curious. Flying chairs and people biting others in the arm.
