Kicking off tonight’s WWE RAW episode was Main Event Jey Uso. With a massive mountain ahead of him at WrestleMania XL, he will be facing his brother Jey Uso. This brother vs brother, blood vs blood match has been building up for months now. Jimmy has been a thorn in Jey’s shoe since he left The Bloodline. During last week’s episode, Jey issued the challenge, which Jimmy quickly accepted. However, during the opening, the commentary team name-dropped previous instances of blood going up against blood. As Jey made his way to the ring, the announced team said, “Bret-Owen, Matt-Jeff, Jimmy-Jey, brother vs brother.”

WWE commentary team name-drops Jeff and Matt Hardy ahead of Mania XL

Jimmy vs Jey will be the third brother vs brother match in WrestleMania history. This has been the first time WWE acknowledged Matt and Jeff Hardy. This ignited fan speculation as both brothers in AEW have their contracts expiring his month. Could this have been a subtle hint at what is to come at Mania XL? Only time will tell if the Masters of the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match will return to the WWE.

The match between Jey and Jimmy Uso will be the third sibling match in Mania history. Moreover, something interesting to note is the fact that all these three matches came exactly 15 years apart from each other. Nevertheless, how exactly could the Hardy Boyz make their presence known at the Show of Shows?

How the Hardy Boyz could factor into WrestleMania XL?

Speculation suggests that one of the teams who qualified for the Mania six-team tag match could come out ahead of the match. This mirrors how Hardy Boyz returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. This is one way the WWE could incorporate the Hardys into the Mania match.
