In the history of All Elite Wrestling, as in other wrestling companies, several heated incidents between wrestlers have often taken place. Recently, a situation occurred that ended with Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, being briefly suspended by All Elite Wrestling. Something that was speculated by fans as she was missing from AEW programming. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Britt Baker was suspended for a week or two and fined by AEW.

It all stemmed from a backstage issue on July 17, when Baker allegedly said something about MJF and his girlfriend and interviewer at AEW, Alicia Atout. Apparently, Atout heard this and told MJF, who confronted Baker. An investigation was launched on July 24 with the human resources department speaking to different people and the disciplinary committee made the decision to punish Baker.

So as a result, she was suspended by the Jacksonville-based promotion. But while many expected Baker to launch a tirade against Tony Khan and his promotion, it seems like Baker is rather enjoying her suspension instead. On her X account, the former AEW Women’s World Champion shared a picture of herself enjoying life on the beach. All ripped and sizzling, the AEW star also shared the caption, “Life’s a beach. 🏖️.”

Well, it surely looks like the AEW star is carefree about her suspension despite the major allegations made against her. It could also be because Meltzer adds in his report that most of the people he has spoken to support Britt. It seems that the problem comes from some issues from the past that were not resolved.

So Baker knows that she has backstage support and isn’t the culprit here. Taking into account that the suspension was confirmed on July 24 and was for one or two weeks, Britt Baker may no longer be suspended. Or, if not, she will no longer be suspended in a matter of days. For the moment, neither party has commented on the matter.

As reported on Fightful Select, Britt Baker expressed her frustration with MJF in the AEW women’s locker room while Alicia Atout was there. This made MJF aware of this and he went straight into the women’s locker room. Baker then insulted her and said that she wanted to kick Atout out of the locker room for telling MJF what was being said there. At one point, Will Ospreay also had a conversation with the former AEW Women’s World Champion.

Fightful adds that this situation occurred before MJF faced Will Ospreay on Dynamite and the argument ended with the former AEW World Champion hitting a wall. An action that led him to have to bandage his hand more than usual. The incident and the subsequent suspension have generated some division of opinion in AEW and most wrestlers thought that this matter was already “water in the past” and that things like this had already been left in the past. What do you think? Did AEW make the right move by suspending Britt Baker? Let us know in the comments.
