Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Khan shared a major update for the upcoming AEW PPV, Revolution. While the tweet is straightforward, the manner of its writing might throw off fans. The AEW head honcho mentioned that AEW Revolution would feature a new set, something that fans haven’t seen before. He wrote,AEW Dynamite is red. #AEWDynamite is blue. Until the Wednesday after #AEWRevolution, When we’ll have a brand new set for you!” He also wished fans a Happy Valentine’s Day and also said that they should spend the evening watching AEW Dynamite.

AEW Revolution is one of the Big Four PPVs which are organized by AEW. The first revolution happened back in 2020. However, this installment will be an extra special as legendary pro wrestling star, Sting will be having his retirement match, ending his 40-year-long pro wrestling career. It has been speculated that his rival would be Ric Flair, who was presented to him by Khan a few weeks ago. What’s more interesting to note is that the venue will be the Greensboro Stadium, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

It is the same place where Sting and Flair locked horns for the first time back in 1988. Apart from that, Sting made his AEW debut with the Revolution 2021. So this makes his AEW journey and his pro wrestling journey come to a full circle.

Following Sting’s retirement match, fans might get to see the AEW debut of either Mercedes Mone f.k.a Sasha Banks, Will Ospreay, or Kazuchika Okada. The exact chronology is unknown. However, all these events will follow each other and will be separated from each other only by a month. Well, we might have to be a bit patient for that.
