MJF’s caption read, “I’ve been a top name in this industry since I was 21. I’ve accomplished more than I can remember at this point. Championships. Accolades. Awards. The induction ceremony will take place at Commack, New York on December 18th starting at 11 AM ET. MJF’s name comes as a credible option due to his run as AEW World Champion. AEW is the second largest promotion in the US and MJF is their longest reigning World Champion. He is also one-half of the current World Tag Team Champion of ROH Wrestling promotion. But, MJF’s induction isn’t the first instance of a wrestler’s induction.

It has been noted that over five wrestlers have been inducted into the Hall of Fame starting from Olympic athlete Henry Wittenberg in 1993. The next induction happened in 2009 when former WWE superstar Scott Levy aka Raven was inducted. However, the most prominent name on the list is of former WWE and WCW Champion Bill Goldberg who was inducted in 2010.

To date, it has inducted over 100 athletes from various sports.
