As CM Punk Eyes a Return, Wife AJ Lee’s Latest Photo Is Turning Heads on Social Media

AJ Lee and CM Punk, the fan-favorite wrestling couple have been away from the squared circle for quite a while. While Punk was seen last time in action in August, last year, AJ Lee hasn’t stepped inside the ring since 2015. According to Punk’s friend and fellow AEW star Dax Harwood, Punk is missing the in-ring action and wants to return soon.

Since then, Punk’s return has been the major talk among fans. But recently, his wife and former WWE Divas champion AJ Lee has snatched the spotlight from his husband with just one picture.

AJ Lee shocked fans with just one picture on social media

Recently, a Los Angeles-based fitness photographer has featured the former WWE superstar AJ Lee on her official Instagram handle. The picture is attracting several wrestling fans as despite being away from the ring for the last eight years, AJ Lee is looking perfectly ripped and toned.

In the picture, Lee is posing for the camera wearing the white cropped top and bright pink trousers while flaunting her ripped body. The image clearly indicates that even though AJ Lee has maintained a distance from professional wrestling, it never stopped her from taking care of her physical health.

The photographer has also praised Lee in the caption calling her a gorgeous athlete, actor, model, and author.

This picture has also made fans wonder if AJ Lee is soon returning to the squared circle. Lee left the ring in 2015 right after WrestleMania 31. Since then, she hasn’t appeared in any professional wrestling company. During her time with WWE she won the Divas Championship three times and was a standout performer in the women’s division.

Lee also spent time as the on-screen General Manager of RAW. She was also involved in storylines with marquee names such as John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and Kane.

Right now she is focused on other ventures away from the ring and unlike her husband CM Punk; she is going slow with her in-ring return.

Since her departure from the WWE in 2015, AJ Lee has stayed away from the squared circle. However, she never truly left the wrestling industry. Currently, the former WWE champion is serving the wrestling industry as an executive producer and color commentator for WOW (Women of Wrestling).

Other than that, she has also carved her niche as a writer. And she keeps on campaigning for mental health and animal welfare from time to time. Soon, the fans will also see her in season two of the television series “Heels” where she will be playing the role of “Elle Dorado”. The series is centered around pro wrestling.
