After issuing a challenge to MJF and Samoa Joe, AEW dropped another major hint of who the person behind the mask could be. This might be a major development in the storyline leading up to AEW’s Worlds End.

MJF discovers a clue to the identity of The Devil

After accepting the challenge, Samoa Joe and MJF were seen backstage. The two were arguing as Joe promised to be the security for MJF after The Devil targeted him. However, Joe could not do his job properly, which resulted in MJF being ambushed. After parting ways, MJF noticed something that could be a major clue.

Outside the private locker room of the Mogul Embassy was a mask. The same kind of mask The Devil’s henchmen have been wearing. After confronting Prince Nana, who sent out Swerve Strickland, MJF had one question, “Are you The Devil?” Unfortunately, there was no answer given by Strickland, and Joe appeared to ensure the matter didn’t escalate.
