It’s not a common sight to see rival on-screen wrestlers coming together. AEW fans recently witnessed a situation where two wrestlers united on one cause. Several female wrestlers have publicly dealt with stereotypical behavior before, but Saraya and Britt Baker recently turned it up a notch. The two rival wrestlers had words for a netizen for putting–as the wrestlers believe–fake accusations on AEW.

Both the wrestlers took turns calling out the netizen for spreading misinformation. The power of their influence may have saved AEW’s image to a great extent. For those of you wondering what was the argument all about, let’s dive right into it.

Britt Baker and Saraya have been in a long-running feud ever since the latter joined the promotion in late 2022. Both are involved in a bitter rivalry right now. However, when it comes to standing up for AEW, they know how to unite.

In a recent tweet, Baker revealed how she is angry that AEW ‘Outcasts’ a women’s stable led by Saraya are trying to monetize on Baker’s face. And they are doing so by printing and selling a t-shirt with a picture of her where she appears all bloody and injured.

A few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Saraya joined hands with Chris Jericho as they brutally assaulted Adam Cole and Baker. The beatdown left Baker with a bruised. Obviously Baker was playing up to her storyline rivalry with Saraya and their actions of printing a shirt with Baker’s bruised eye on it.

Baker says it makes her furious since somebody else is making money off her face, but an online fan took things to a new height. The netizen blamed AEW for promoting ‘domestic violence’ by letting the wrestlers print and sell a t-shirt with an injured Baker on it. However, both Saraya and Baker united to protect their promotion against accusations.

Baker replied to the netizen by saying, “Supports domestic violence how? I got a black eye in a RING? My enemies put a pic on a shirt to troll me and I outsmarted them. Does that mean all the (top-selling) bloody T-shirts are supporting murder? If a male wrestler had a shirt with a black eye, would you be this p****d?

To the same tweet, Saraya also replied, “Dude, as much as I think @Britt Baker is an a**hole…  Wrestling isn’t for you. LMAO,” trolling the fan online.

Clearly, the printed T-shirt is Saraya and AEW’s way of building up the rivalry between her and Britt Baker and is only part of a storyline. Hence, both the stars were quick to shut down the fan criticizing something that is part of kayfabe.
