As Survivor Series approaches, fans eagerly await CM Punk’s probable return to the WWE. But at the same time, rival promotion AEW is leaving no stone unturned to keep its fans excited as well. On this week’s Dynamite, AEW kicked off its Continental Classic. In addition, Tony Khan took Thanksgiving as an opportunity to give some major news to the AEW faithful.
Tony Khan announced that tickets for All In will go on sale from 1st December
Thanksgiving is a day when you show gratitude for the things you are really thankful for. And Tony Khan did exactly that on Twitter. He shared a tweet thanking the loyal AEW fans for their endless support right from day 1.

He also used this opportunity to tell the fans that the tickets for AEW’s biggest PPV All In will go on sale from 1st December. He tweeted, “Happy Thanksgiving! I’m grateful for your amazing support of @AEW. With the Continental Classic off & running, next week is huge as tickets go onsale for #AEWAllIn London @wembleystadium, days from now! Thanks to you we’ve come so far + have so much to look forward to together!”. At the start of November, Tony Khan had made the same announcement on the televised episode of Dynamite for which he received a lot of backlash on social media.

AEW’s Continental Classic kicked off on Dynamite
This is the first ever edition of the Continental Classic in AEW. It’s a round-robin tournament that will last 6 weeks and will conclude at the Worlds End pay-per-view on 30th December.

The winner of this tournament will become the inaugural AEW Continental Champion. He will also win the ROH World Championship and the Strong Openweight Championship of NJPW.

The tournament consists of two groups, the Gold League and The Blue League. The Gold League consists of stars like Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, Jay White, Jay Lethal, Rush and Mark Briscoe. The Blue League consists of Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Eddie Kingston, Brody King, Andrade El Idolo and Bryan Danielson. The tournament rules are pretty basic. The matches have a 20 minute time limit, 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and all other competing stars are banned from ringside.
