Wrestling Twitter is exploding tonight. Tony Khan instigated a social media war between AEW and WWE. He attacked a Raw booking decision involving Jinder Mahal in a blatant claim. He lambasted the Indian blood wrestler for getting a title shot despite not being on the main roster. Along with that line, he aired his frustration regarding the recent Hook callout of AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, triggering “online outrage.” He even called out the fans’ double standard for being blind to the Modern Day Maharaja’s useless push.
Quite usually, the issue brought the wrestling fraternity to the forefront. Most of them rushed to the comments to safeguard Mahal and instantly turned him into a social media babyface.

AEW and WWE ranting at each other is the most common scenario prevailing in the wrestling universe. Especially, Khan isn’t in the fans’ good book for his tilting behavior. And he just made things worse for himself.
What Khan did tonight upholding a public display of his WWE hatred is an absolute mess and was hugely called out by fans and superstars.
He took two back-to-back digs at Mahal, specifically his parent promotion, WWE. After downplaying his achievements with the Hook comparison, Khan jumped onto attacking the USA network. TK called that tweet a ‘moral victory’ for they sealed a massive Jinder Mahal match on their TV show.
Khan’s attacking spree has met with an even sharper counterattack. The wrestling fanatics, including some big names, didn’t even waste seconds before putting him in his place.
