Considering the behemoth WWE is, it is a dream of many pro wrestlers to get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with the Stamford-based promotion. Even though there are multiple rival promotions of the company, the spotlight a star gets at WWE is something that cannot be matched at other places. One such rival promotion is AEW. While many stars who are released from WWE make their way to AEW, one veteran star in particular from AEW wants to make a shift to WWE.

Frankie Kazarian wants to go back to WWE

Speaking with Chris Jericho on his podcast Talk is Jericho, Frankie Kazarian revealed how he is planning to make a shift in the future if it is possible for him. He said, “I have relationships with a lot of people there. Matt Bloom is one.” The AEW World Tag Team Champion further added that he and Bloom were together at Killer Kowalski’s wrestling school together during their training days. As stated by Kazarian, Bloom had recently contacted him to discuss his possible debut at WWE.

According to him, the conversation with Bloom included his plans about wrestling. Bloom had asked him whether he was still available to wrestle, to which the 46-year-old star eagerly replied with an “Absolutely.” Bloom then asked him whether the former AEW star was willing to enter the coaching side. While Kazarian might not be ready for it yet, he believes that it is something he would love to do down the line.

Kazarian even added that he had talks with other people at WWE. He added that there were some offers made to him which were pretty generous and everybody acted quite welcoming. However, he believes that it is not the right time for him to go there.

Kazarian, who is an industry veteran, has been in the business since 2000. However, if he does make his way to WWE, this would count as his second debut. His first debut is something fans are not quite aware of.

Kazarian who made his debut in the realm of pro wrestling in 2000, worked with various independent circuits up until 2003. He made his debut at TNA Wrestling in 2003 and had a two-year-long career there. In 2005, he made his way to WWE under the name The Future. The Future made his debut on the July 16 episode of WWE Velocity back in 2005. There, he proved his dominance by being undefeated through July and August. In his debut match, he defeated Nunzio and went on to pin other stars such as Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki, and Paul London. Unfortunately, on August 15, 2005, Kazarian announced his departure from WWE as the promotion had no plans of revamping their cruiserweight division, the division to which Kazarian belonged. Do you think his second run with WWE will be fruitful if he makes his debut at WWE?
