Pro-wrestling has come to a point where youngsters don’t shy away from taking a stand in front of legends. This is what happened when The Undertaker made a claim about the current generation. And, AEW pro-wrestler Joey Janela responded with sarcasm.
So, The Phenom believes that due to the growing nature of superhero and fictional movies, the current generation can draw motivation from them. However, in his time, pro-wrestlers would go to bars, bust heads, and draw inspiration from those.
Janela responded with a savage shot towards The Undertaker. He mocked Taker’s words. Janela joked that younger pro-wrestlers should have proof of at least two bar fights before getting inside the ring.

I 100% agree Mark!
Lots of lame marvel geek talk in these locker rooms! If I ever open up a wrestling school before you have your first match you’re gonna have to get in at least 2 bar fights with PROOF!
By the way the avengers movies suck https://t.co/xEUDhwsM7W

While he made a joke, there’s no doubt that the current generation is much different from the previous generation. More often than not, legends have termed the current generation and product as “soft”.
From one point of view, this could be considered a correct statement, since the level of violence has been reduced. However, in the current generation’s defense, the PG Era doesn’t allow quite a few things which were allowed in the previous eras.
But coming back to inspiration, several current Superstars have revealed WWE Legends to be their inspiration and source of motivation.

The Undertaker has played an influential role in pro-wrestling
Over the three decades that Taker worked with WWE, he has not only contributed to the business but also helped several young pro-wrestlers.
During the time when The Undertaker’s infamous WrestleMania streak was going on, he would usually put over younger pro-wrestlers for the rest of the year while keeping the WrestleMania victory for himself.
This helped him strengthen his influence on the business while helping the younger generation move forward.

Keeping this massive influence and impact in mind, WWE is honoring The Undertaker by inducting him to the Hall of Fame as Class of 2022. Moreover, Vince McMahon will be the one to induct him to the same even though he absolutely dislikes being mentioned in Hall of Fame speeches.
