A few days ago, the Boston Celtics managed to secure a place in the NBA Finals. And now, they have defeated Luka Dončić’s Dallas Mavericks to become the NBA champions. And the current TBS Champion, Mercedes Mone did not hold back to show her support for her favorite team. For those not aware, the former WWE star has a soft spot for the place she grew up in and was even in the live audience, wherein she joined the post-win celebrations.

Right before the finals, Mone defended her team and assured that the Boston Celtics were more than ready to get the NBA ring. She also wanted to endorse Celtics player Jaylen Brown, who is continuously criticized despite winning the MVP in the Eastern Conference finals and having had very solid statistics throughout the year. So she truly is a Celtics fan through and through. And this support has caught the attention of a WWE female star with a close association to that of The Bloodline.

Trinity, aka Naomi from the WWE, is one of Mone’s best friends in the industry. And the wife of Jimmy Uso is often seen showing her support for the former Sasha Banks. And now, the real-life member of the Bloodline has done it again, as she commented on a Twitter video uploaded by Mone. In the video, ‘The CEO’ can be seen celebrating the Celtics win, while in the comments, Trinity wrote, “I love this for you”.

It is nice to know that despite the company rivalries, the two manage to continue their friendship. After all, they never made a promotion bigger than themselves. The two walked out of the WWE together back in 2022 due to creative differences. And though Naomi made her return to the promotion, Mone decided to join the ranks of All Elite Wrestling, despite the WWE wanting her to return as well. However, an insider recently revealed that it was always complicated to work with Mone, and it is possible she left the WWE because she wanted more money.

A former WWE employee accuses Mercedes Moné of being a complicated person to work with

Throughout her WWE career, Mercedes Mone has experienced both highlights and difficult moments. On some occasions, she faced backstage issues and even rebelled against the board, resulting in extended periods of absence from programming. During his recent appearance on Behind the Turnbuckle with Jonathan Coachman, Tommy Carlucci, who had experience working in WWE for several years, shared his thoughts on Mercedes Mone.

Carlucci expressed that it was complicated to work with her and mentioned that he did not consider her as impressive as many believed. “I don’t think she’s [Mercedes Mone] great at all. So, I never thought she was this whole bag of chips that everybody thought she was here [in WWE] as Sasha Banks. And she was difficult to work with, too.” Jonathan Coachman added to these comments that it has been mentioned that Mercedes Mone had a bad reputation due to her behavior in the past.

In addition, it was said that she demanded a huge amount of money from WWE before signing with AEW. Coachman also expressed the opinion that Mone is below the level of wrestlers such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Rhea Ripley. Before reaching an agreement with AEW, Mercedes Mone explored the possibility of returning to WWE. However, both parties were unable to reach an economic agreement. AEW is said to have offered Moné a significantly larger amount of money, which eventually led to her joining the said company.
