“No Time Has Been Lost”- CM Punk’s Wife Reunites With an Old Friend Related to The Bloodline Member “After a Decade”

Pro wrestlers in general forge a close bond with each other as they travel together every week. Also, once they leave a promotion, the bond is still there and they meet often. Similarly, AJ Lee is also connected to several WWE superstars with whom she was on the road. She met her husband CM Punk in WWE years ago but recently met a friend 10 years later who is related to a Bloodline member.

Recently, Lee shared a picture with a former WWE superstar who is associated with The Bloodline directly. Even though Lee doesn’t wrestle anymore, she is still in contact with many stars of the business.

AJ Lee meets an old friend after 10 years

While CM Punk returned to professional wrestling making his debut in AEW in 2021, AJ Lee is away from the business. However, she often meets her ex-colleagues aka WWE superstars, who are with the company or left for other promotions. 

Similarly, she recently met the current Impact Knockouts World Champion and former WWE Superstar Trinity Fatu aka Naomi who is married to The Bloodline member Jimmy Uso. The ‘Black Widow’ of WWE shared the picture on her Instagram with the caption, “your mothers”.

Following Lee’s post, Fatu also shared the same picture on her Instagram handle with a heartwarming caption. The Impact star wrote, “Nothing like seeing an old friend after years (a decade) and feeling like no time has been lost. @theajmendez thank you for being you! #Repost @theajmendez・・・your mothers”

After walking away from WWE with Sasha Banks last year, Naomi came back to professional wrestling in April this year. Fatu made her Impact Wrestling debut in April and won the Impacts Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary on July 15th, 2023.

As of AJ LEE, she has been away from in-ring action since 2014. She joined the wrestling business in 2021 but as an executive producer in 2021 with Women of Wrestling. However, the fans wish to see her in WWE or AEW once again having in-ring action.

Will AJ Lee make a return like her husband CM Punk?

CM Punk’s WWE return was a huge occasion for the wrestling world in 2021. Every fan, be it WWE, Impact Wrestling, etc, cheered for his AEW debut. 

Similarly, there are constant talks among the Internet Wrestling Community aka IWC, and the fans about if AJ Lee also makes a return. She is a former three-time Divas Champion in WWE. Moreover, she was also a crucial part of the women’s revolution in WWE.
