Professional wrestling sometimes limits many wrestlers to change their way of in-ring style as per age. Several wrestlers even change their styles as they age and focus more on staying on the ground rather than diving moves. However, that isn’t the case with one of the legendary professional wrestler, who has wrestled in almost every promotion and is 63 years old now.

On the recent PPV of AEW Full Gear, WWE Hall of Famer Sting once again proved why he is called ‘The Icon’. Irrespective of his age, the WCW legend once again did a risky diving move.  Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal vs. Sting and Darby Allin took place at AEW Full Gear 2022. The match quickly started at the entrance ramp when Allin attacked Lethal and the fake Stings with his skateboard. Meanwhile, the Icon stood behind Jarrett and started the match quickly.

The brawl went into the crowd. Surprisingly, Sting once again did the unbelievable dive he is famous for in AEW now. Satnam Singh tossed Darby onto the stage and then went over to Sting and Lethal. Singh caught Lethal off the platform, but Sting quickly took Singh down with a dive from the crowd area.

Clearly, from being retired from wrestling due to a severe neck injury to doing risky moves at 63 years old, Sting is beating all odds. Since debuting in AEW, the 6-time WCW Champion is tagging with Allin and the duo is just surprising the fans with their unique characters and amazing matches.

At 63, Sting is able to catch up with the pace of Allin during the tag matches. This is a sign of how much he has still left in the tank and is ready to do what it takes.

AEW fans once again praise Sting for doing risky moves at 63 years old

Fans often worry for Sting when he does such moves at 60+ age. However, he impresses all the wrestling fans and did so at Full Gear PPV. Some of the fans shared their reactions on Twitter after being mesmerized by his dive.

Sting and Darby Allin won the match after Darby pinned Lethal with the coffin drop. The WWE Hall of Famer is currently enjoying his time in AEW, which many fans call his last wrestling run overall. Nevertheless, looking at the smooth ring work at the age of 63, it seems we will see The Icon for a few more years.
