WWE fans are more than minute in their observations of any small developments to their favorite stars’ usual persona. Sometimes, they take it with a good spirit while other times, it garners wrath, leading to some random speculation. Ex-WWE star Dana Brooke has currently been facing the latter and her new hairstyle had some role to play in it.

Fans drew a comparison between Brooke and AEW’s Tony Storm as they oddly resemble each other in recent times. Now, Brooke came to her defense through a fiery tweet.

Dana Brooke fired back at fans for comparing her new look to Toni Storm

Last weekend at TNA Wrestling’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view, Dana Brooke made her debut in the promotion with the new name Ash by Elegance. The new TNA star flaunted her new persona and it included a different hairstyle. As it didn’t sit well with her WWE fans, the wrestler tweeted,  ”Relax everyone … it’s a hair style… I haven’t cut a promo, or step foot in the ring & y’all are hating… lemme tell ya something, I like Toni Storm but respectfully she will never be me & I’ll never be her!! But at least you’re talking about me”

We need to see if she will have anything else to vent about the matter down the line. Or if Toni Storm has anything to say about the comparison. However, moving ahead, the released WWE superstar weighed in on her lost term with the old promotion.

Brooke came clean on her issues with WWE ahead of an abrupt release

There are many talents out there who cut the chords with the promotion on a good note, but Dana Brooke isn’t the one among them. She didn’t walk out of the company on her own, rather she was fired without notice amidst the mass firing spree post the blockbuster merger. But her issues with the higher-ups date back to long.

The current TNA superstar noted that WWE never really put their faith and money on her. She was never the one that they risked a big push for.

There’s little freedom involved in her stint. Brooke added she pitched a unique segment for her during the Money in the Bank 2018-19 but couldn’t get away with it as WWE altered it as per their judgment.
