The icon and legend of the WWE, Ric Flair, made headlines recently by debuting on AEW. Despite his years of service to the WWE, Flair jumped ship to WWE’s rival. However, this would not be the only time he grabbed eyeballs with his actions. With Michigan’s recent win over Ohio State in football, Flair had some words for one SEC Network host.

Despite what some say, Flair is a Michigan football superfan and stands firm with the team.

Paul Finebaum has been ESPN’s current SEC Network host and talking head since 2013. Recently, he was among the people who were vocal about Michigan’s head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh was suspended during the NCAA investigation into impermissible scouting. However, this did not sit well with Flair.

Taking to social media, Flair started this online feud on November 26th with a message directly aimed at Finebaum. Flair called out Finebaum in the message, saying, “Quit Being A Hater And Start Being A Believer! Quit Snubbing The Big 10! WOOOOO!.” However, this would not be the end of it.

The next day, he posted another message on social media for Finebaum. In this, he wrote, “When You Had Me On Your Show, I Was “The Great Ric Flair.” I Still Am & I’m Bigger And Better Than Ever At 74!” Flair didn’t seem to have given up on Finebaum and ended the message with, “Don’t Ever Joust With The Dirtiest Player In The Game!”

After winning, Michigan moved to 12-0, earning a berth in the Big Ten Championship Game. The Michigan Wolverines will face the 10-2 Iowa Hawkeyes. This will be a rematch of their 2021 title game. Despite venting out his frustrations in another sport, he appeared to be in a jolly mood during his recent foray into AEW.
