Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, is living his best life. He is the current AEW World Champion, delivering memorable matches every time. After a bitter departure from WWE, Moxley is happy with his creative freedom in his new ground.

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Moxley spoke about various aspects of his current AEW tenure. He even spoke about his retirement plans. Interestingly, he looks up to The Undertaker for his (Moxley) future in wrestling.

“I want to ride this for as long as I can even if it comes down to having to take longer periods of time off. If it gets down to where I can only wrestle one match a year like The Undertaker, then so be it.”

“I could totally see myself being in a producer or coach role. I could see myself being a trainer or a booker, I probably won’t know until that day comes, but there is also a good chance that one day I am just going to be gone and you will never see me again. But wherever I’m at, I’ll be all good, so don’t worry about it.”

Despite everything, the Champion is happy with his present situation. He considers himself lucky for being a wrestler, “I’m the luckiest guy in the world because I get to do the thing that I like as a living and got to turn it into a career. It’s really cool.”

Jon Moxley is focusing on wrestling for now

Earlier in the interview, he stated that wrestling will always be his first priority. Although he won’t turn down a good opportunity, he won’t actively branch out to Hollywood.

“I’d like to wrestle until I am in my 50s, but it can end at any time. I don’t want to spend nine months filming a movie when I could have been having matches.

Jon Moxley will soon turn 35. Many wrestlers continue wrestling even when they are 50. If Moxley can be fit and fine, he will indeed be part of the industry for years to come.
