Tony Khan is on the verge of creating history with his company AEW. It seems AEW will be the next company after WWE in recent years to fill up a large crowd for a pro wrestling show. But recently, a tweet by a well-known ESPN reporter made Khan furious. He took a shot at him by calling out Nick Khan after Vince McMahon finalized the WWE and Endeavour deal.

The AEW boss was unhappy and claimed the ESPN reporter spread incorrect information about his latest dream project.

A few hours back, Wrestling Observer shared a report on their Twitter handle about AEW’s Wembley arena show. According to Dave Meltzer AEW sold 35,000 tickets during its All-In PPV pre-sale.

This is an impressive feat considering another company other than WWE has achieved it. However, an ESPN reporter Mike Coppinger took a shot at AEW’s PPV’s seating capacity compared with the Tyson Fury-Dillian Whyte fight last year, which filled over 90,000 seats.

Coppinger wrote, “Hearing Wembley is scaled for only 40K for AEW – far cry from last April when I was ringside for Tyson Fury-Dillian Whyte and it was packed to the brim with 94,000. Nothing beats the big-fight feel at Wembley”

A furious Tony Khan replied to the ESPN reporter calling out WWE’s CEO Nick Khan. The 40-year-old wrote, “LIES. What a load of c**p. Tell your agent Nick Khan to shove it up his a**”.

Moreover, after a gap of nearly 15 minutes, the AEW boss shared another tweet. In this tweet, Khan took a shot at Coppinger’s credentials as reported.

Khan wrote, “Since you carry the credentials of a credible reporter + represent the Worldwide Leader, I’m just curious: who was your source for this, and how can a reporter representing ESPN tweet something about a legit news story that’s so blatantly wrong and easily verified as a falsehood?”

Clearly, the 40-year-old was upset over Coppinger comparing All-In with the Fury-Whyte match last year. It was a pre-sale and AEW is expecting more sales of tickets in the coming days. Moreover, AEW will surely have a stacked match card while former WCW executive Eric Bischoff wants a specific match at All-In.

The 67-year-old WCW personality has always bashed Punk since his AEW debut promo. However, amidst AEW having a bigger event and the rumors of CM Punk returning and Goldberg wanting a retirement match, Bischoff thinks this is a perfect place for that match.

He said this in an episode of his podcast a few days ago. Furthermore, in the latest episode of 83 Weeks, Bischoff also shared he would personally be present to see the match if Khan books Goldberg vs Punk.
