In 2017, Saraya aka Paige, in WWE, had her last wrestling match before making her AEW debut last year in November. She surprised the entire wrestling world when she revealed her return to wrestling after becoming ALL-Elite. There were concerns regarding her career-ending injury, but she overcame those doubts. However, before completing a year on the roster, she won the AEW Women’s World title in her tenth match for Tony Khan.
But in all of her 10 matches, the 31-year-old has wrestled only four singles matches in AEW. Recently, Khan gave his thoughts on booking her more in tag or trios matches.

After winning the big one at AEW ALL-IN London, Saraya appeared at the post-match media scrum to join Tony Khan. One question asked was will she have more singles matches as a champion moving forward?
The former Divas Champion stated she will have more singles matches. Moreover, she also stated why she has been a part of tag and trios matches until now. The AEW boss shared why it made sense to have her in fewer singles matches.
The 40-year-old said, “She came off a very long-term injury and it also makes sense sometimes in tag, trios situations where let’s see how it goes and your partner.”
Khan added, “If you have any problem your partners gonna pick up and help you make it through and now we have seen she is 100 percent.”

The former WWE Superstar was part of a Fatal-4 Way match at AEW ALL IN London to win her first title in AEW. Clearly, this was a heartwarming moment for her as she won in front of her home crowd.
The 31-year-old had her first singles match in six years against Britt Baker DMD AEW Full Gear 2022. Furthermore, her other three singles matches came against Willow Nightingale once and Skye Blue twice. Also, at the recent ALL-IN PPV, she created a unique record.

The current AEW Wrestler is one of the most famous stars in the business. However, in ALL-IN London PPV, Saraya made a unique record that might be her for a long time.
After winning the Fatal-4 Match in London, Saraya became the first female wrestler to win a women’s title in WWE and AEW. As Paige, she won the NXT Women’s Title once and the Divas title twice.

It is indeed a rare record for now and may take time to break. The only other potential wrestler who can do that is Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks, if she signs with AEW. Saraya vs Mone in a singles match for the AEW Women’s World title could prove to be a massive draw if it happens.
