With 2K24 the expectation will be that more needs to be delivered in terms of online servers, presentation, and better visuals. Last year the introduction of the War Games match and a revamped MyGM mode was a hit among the fans and are likely to make their return for the next iteration. The game could further carry fan-favorite modes like MyFACTION, MyRISE, and 2k Showcase along with a few new additions.

Apart from this gamers will have a lot to look forward to with the returning CM Punk and new talents like Jade Cargill likely to feature in the in-game roster. With the trailer of the game due to drop around the time of WWE’s PLE of the year Royal Rumble, fans will also be keen to know who will be the cover star of WWE 2K24. A wrestling insider had an update on that as well and it may not come as a surprise.
Cody Rhodes could be the cover star for WWE 2K24
Prominent WWE insider boozerwrestling on X hinted that Cody Rhodes could be the cover star for WWE 2K24. Being one of the top babyfaces and a merchandise mover for the company this would make sense. Ever since his return to the Stamford-based company Rhodes has grown in popularity and stature as a main event star.

Rey Mysterio was the cover star of 2K22 and John Cena graced the cover of 2K23, which also meant they were Showcase mode stars for their respective games. If WWE follows the same tradition, then we can see Rhodes having his Showcase mode in 2K24, which will cover his run in the company before his exit in 2o18. This includes his time in Legacy, teaming with Damien Sandow, and Stardust. With the possible logo for WWE2K24 released, the time is drawing near when WWE will announce the release date for the game and then the anticipation can truly begin.
