Simone Biles is on Cloud 9 at the moment. The gymnastics legend won her 6th all-around title at the World Championships to create history. In the process, she became one of the most decorated gymnasts of all time, etching her name in record books. This is all the more remarkable since earlier this year, Biles made a comeback after taking a break from the sport to focus on her mental health following the Tokyo Olympics. However, less than three months after her return, the 26-year-old is again ruling the gymnastics world. Following her feat, she received special messages from the tennis world.

Biles’ performance was followed by not only her fans but also fellow players from the American sporting community, including Coco Gauff and Chris Evert from tennis. What did they have to say after seeing Biles reach for glory once again?

Gauff took to Twitter to share her reaction to Biles’ victory. She kept it simple as she reacted to ESPN’s tweet reporting the legendary gymnast’s historic achievement with a goat emoji. She indicated that she feels Biles is the greatest ever player to play on the world stage.

Chris Evert also reacted to the historic performance of Biles. One reporter’s comments made it to Twitter, where she had stated, “It is Biles? willingness to be honest about her mental health, to pick herself back up and try again even when it terrified her, that will be her greatest legacy. She hasn?t only changed her sport, she?s changed the world.”?Reacting to it, Evert said, “so true!!!”

Gauff and Biles have a good relationship and often praise each other for their amazing performances in their respective sports. In fact, there was one time that the latter even wanted Gauff to prevail over her idol and fellow tennis legend Serena Williams.
