It is an undeniable fact that if there are supporters for a particular star, they will also have a significant number of haters as well. And as Coco Gauff is getting ready to prepare for the upcoming Australian Open, one such hater was ready to discourage the American teenage sensation with a jibe on Twitter. However, the Roland Garros finalist handled the hater in style.
The recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2022 added several million fans to the ever-growing sport that is soccer, and one of them is the World No.7, Coco Gauff. When a fan on Twitter focussed on Gauff’s shortcomings on the court to mock her, she shut them down in the most ingenious way. Despite the mocking intent of the tweet, the rising American tennis star didn’t let it get to her.
The tweet read, “Coco Gauff is a better football player than tennis the way she puts every ball in the net smh.”
But the new soccer (Football) fan brought the GOAT of soccer, Lionel Messi, to shut the hater, once and for all. And responded to the Tweet in style, “me > messi”.
