Ohanian recently shared a a picture of his wife and elder daughter Olympia taken by a media official, when the trio was looking in the same direction. However, recognizing him as Williams’ husband, the coverage called mistook Ohanian for his wife’s umbrella holder. “Olympia. Serena. Serena’s Personal Umbrella Holder. 😂 Let the games begin! I’ll be watching a lot of T&F to soak up @athlos inspiration,🥇” wrote Ohanian taking a funny jibe at the media. 

Williams, who donned a bodycon full-sleeve chiffon red gown, graced her presence on the red carpet. However, as soon as she entered the zone, Paris’ unexpected downfall started. Ohanian, being the caring husband, held the umbrella for his family. A Eurosport commentator mistook him as Williams’ umbrella holder. “She looks absolutely incredible. She’s got someone just behind us holding an umbrella. Those are the levels you aspire to, to have an actual umbrella holder behind you,” the commentator said.

Serena Williams called Alexis Ohanian “greatest husband ever”

Williams attended the Paris Olympics opening ceremony as one of the torch bearers of the event. She attended a small interview with Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover, where she mentioned Ohanian as “The greatest investor ever, the greatest Instagram husband ever, greatest husband ever.” If Williams is sharing this compliment, then Ohanian surely deserves it.
