Danielle Collins' trendsetting—Is Bianca Andreescu's special edition beauty a game-changer for the Paris Olympics?

The Paris Olympics are the main focus of all athletes around the world. After missing out on their chances in Tokyo last time, many sportspersons are dedicated to not just participating in the event but fulfilling their dreams with a shiny medal. Danielle Collins is no different as she channels her excitement for the Olympics with an exclusive fashion trend. Her styling has gripped Canada’s Bianca Andreescu with similar enthusiasm.

Andreescu will represent Team Canada at the Paris Olympics and donned a new nail art before the event. She shared an image on her official Instagram story, where people spotted her styling her nails in the hues of her country Canada’s colors. Andreescu didn’t go into much detail but kept her nails minimalistic by styling it in short square shape. She further opted for red and white manicure tips adding the charm of Canada.

Sharing the image, this WTA star added a laughing expression with Canada’s flag emojis to showcase how much she loved her new style. Andreescu couldn’t make it to the Tokyo Olympics due to injury. The Paris Olympics will mark her debut for the Games. Andreescu is joined by talented players like Leylah Fernandez, Milos Raonic, Gabriela Dabrowski, and Felix Auger-Aliassime as a part of Team Canada in the Paris Olympics.

Andreescu’s nail art reminded is reminiscent of Danielle Collins’. The 2024 Miami Open winner shared her nail art with the caption, “Olympics here I come.” Collins’ nail art sought its thematic inspiration from the United States flag and its colors. Combining Andreescu’s style with Collins’, it seems the excitement about the Olympics is reaching its peak.

Andreescu’s nails highlighted her excitement about her debut at the Paris Olympics. Andreescu has had much trouble in the WTA Tour since 2022, with a massive injury forcing her to sit out of the Tour for every Masters this year. She has only played 4 tournaments this year, and the 2019 US Open champion is having great trouble coming back to her position in the top 10.

A good run in the Olympics, although will not provide her with much-needed points, can give her the momentum to fight for tournaments in the American hard-court swing. Due to this, and missing the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Andreescu is rather excited for the upcoming Games.

Qualified for the upcoming Olympics based on WTA her rank, Andreescu showed her joy in receiving the opportunity to represent her country. “This is a dream come true and I can’t wait to soak up the Olympic atmosphere and give it everything,” she said. Last time, this WTA star expressed huge excitement but she couldn’t take part in the Tokyo Olympics due to an injury.

It’s been like five or six years since I’ve been dreaming of this moment, It’s going to be incredible. I’m super, super pumped. I’m going to be playing for not only myself, but it’s like this whole team around me. I’m never only playing for myself, but it’s just like a different atmosphere. You have so many Canadian athletes and you just feel at home and you feel like this big family. Maybe I’ll be holding that gold medal.”
