He recently posted a video of himself with his fiancée as he was helping her with her braids. Along with the video, he also added a caption. It said, “Almost done, about another hour.”
Braiding is a very time taking technique. And give your partner the time of the day and helping with something so intricate caught Serena’s husband Alexis’ attention. He did not take long to reshare the post on his social media account and write a one-word comment for them. As he shared the post with all of his followers on Twitter, he captioned it, “Goals”.

So, when she saw Selling Sunset, she thought of making this series happen for herself and her fellow all-black, all-female group of real estate brokers too.

This got her sliding into the DMs of the executive producer of the series Adam DiVello. And to her surprise, she was able to sell the idea to him and he even gave them a spin-off series.
