Owing to her domination on the court, Serena has often been the center of the GOAT debate in women’s tennis. She is often compared with the likes of Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, and others. Recently, renowned journalist Jason Whitlock addressed this debate.
Why does Jason Whitlock feel Serena Williams isn’t the GOAT in women’s tennis?
During the latest episode of ‘Fearless’ by Jason Whitlock, the journalist explains why Serena shouldn’t be considered the greatest of all time in women’s tennis. He said, “Serena Williams is not the greatest women’s tennis player of all time.”
Comparing Serena with other greats of women’s tennis, Whitlock went on to say, “Availability is the greatest ability. She ain’t play enough. She chose to have a well-rounded life, God bless her, hats off to her, it was the smart thing to do and I’m not knocking that, but don’t come and tell me you’re the ‘greatest of all time’ when you don’t have half as many titles as Martina Navratilova.”
What did Whitlock say about Colin Kaepernick and Michael Jordan?
The American journalist had been a constant critic of Kaepernick’s form of protest in the NFL. He once took to Twitter to say that Kaepernick should’ve taken the example of Brian Flores, instead of demanding a better paycheck.
No disrespect to Tomlin/Steelers, but Brian Flores deserves most of the praise. He swallowed his ego, took a step back to move forward. That's what grown men do. Flores put himself back in the game. It's what Kap should've done, instead of demanding big money and starting job.

He said, “The greatest player in NBA history sabotaged the first two years of Kwame’s career and spread the narrative that Kwame was a bust. Kwame was a victim of Jordan’s petty, abusive nature. Kwame was never able to escape the narrative set by the most powerful man in basketball. He’s had to carry that for 20 years.”
