The Super Bowl LVIII takes place on Sunday, 11th Feb. Williams has had a direct connection with this event for the past three years. She has appeared in the Super Bowl commercial since 2021. Take for example the last year. She joined the likes of Alicia Silverstone, Tony Hawk, and many others to feature in the advertisements during the Super Bowl.

Williams returned to her collaboration with Michelob Ultra for a Caddyshack parody, in which Williams plays golf against a curmudgeonly Brian Cox, alongside a slew of sports stars.

However, it looks highly unlikely that she will feature in any of the commercials during the mega-event. With Lionel Messi‘s arrival in American soccer, the promotional campaigns are set to feature him. Michelob ULTRA has already teased fans by dropping a glimpse of the video starring the soccer legend.

What did Williams say about the Super Bowl?

The former World Number 1 has often shared glimpses of her enjoying the grand event on her social media handles. During an interview, she also described what made the Super Bowl special.

Williams said, “The Super Bowl is this iconic night where we get to watch competition at the highest level but also experience so much fun and entertainment through the halftime show and world-class campaigns from the most exciting brands. I think it’s all about entertainment. People want to laugh and cry and share that experience together.”

The 2024 Super Bowl takes place between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. While Williams may not be directly involved, she will definitely be enjoying it from behind the scenes.
