Paula Badosa must be feeling really fortunate to have someone like Stefanos Tsitsipas by her side. The two really share an amazing chemistry and understanding that shows how much they care for each other. Moreover, the WTA tennis star never misses a chance to appreciate Tsitsipas’ role in her life, both on-court and off-court. According to her, there’s a deep reason for why they make a great couple together.

In an interaction with Eurosport, dated November 12th, ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals, Paula talked about various aspects of her bond with Stefanos. Since their reunion after a brief split, the two have gone from strength to strength. There’s been not a single moment where Stefanos wasn’t there for Paula during her tough times. Especially, given the fact that they both are tennis players and always keep facing multiple challenges, be it with their form or anything else. Praising Stefanos’ caring and loving behavior towards her, Paula revealed, “He is a person who empathizes a lot. He has been there in almost all my bad moments and has been a great support for me.” She then went on to share the key reason for why she thinks their relationship works so well. “We have something that is also very beautiful in a couple, which is to admire the other. We respect and admire each other a lot. Hearing those words from a great athlete like him motivates me. That your partner believes in you also helps,” Paula said.

But this isn’t the first time Paula has come forward to speak about her boyfriend’s affectionate nature for her. On a previous occasion, not too long ago, she had expressed her true feelings on how romantic Stefanos is!

Earlier this month, Stefanos was in France for the Rolex Paris Masters event. After his third round victory, he sat down for an interview with the Tennis Channel, dated November 1st. While the entirety of this interview was filled with Stefanos talking about his improvement as a player, the last few minutes of were really unexpected. It’s because Paula eventually decided to crash the interview.

Appearing out of nowhere, she sat down alongside her boyfriend while talking to the host. When the latter asked her to comment on Stefanos’ romantic side and if he was good at it, she confessed, “He’s pretty romantic. He is. I cannot complain.” This response made Tsitsipas blush as he seemed very happy to know he was doing pretty well. “I would be very surprised if you said the opposite. I’ve been showing it a lot,” said the ATP star while making it evident that he’s quite romantic when it comes showing his love for Paula.

Well, she will hope for the same from her beau as she steps into the last big tournament of this season – Billie Jean King Cup. Apart from his love, the WTA player will surely need his full support, too, as she’s preparing to begin her campaign on Wednesday. It’s worth noting that it will be her second appearance in the event after making her debut for Spain back in 2022’s BJK Finals.
